strawberry sugar night has been a passion project for awhile now and only recently have I started this project officially. In 2021 or 2020 I had a dream of being in a spaceship and it was being taken over by alien girl. Don't know how, but it led me to think of a story of a girl who made friends with two aliens and they go on adventures together around the cosmos. I began to draw the characters excessively on every paper and I imagined what it would be like to be a show.Alas, it was too adventurous idea. I didn't know how to animate at a level I was happy with and running a show sounded like something only a rich person could do. I was watching a cartoon on Netflix and imagined what it would be like to have a cartoon that had my humor, my style, and main character that looked like me? Then I saw many indie shows become very successful. Then I decided that there was no other way to tell this story unless it was animated.
